Following the first collaboration "BE@RBRICK MASTERMIND WORLD 100% & 400%" (released December 2019), which launched alongside the revival of mastermind JAPAN in 2017, a BE@RBRICK bearing the mastermind JAPAN name will be released for the first time in approximately six years.

Since its launch in 1997, mastermind JAPAN has focused on MADE IN JAPAN, incorporating Japanese materials, traditional techniques, and the latest technologies into its ready-to-wear collections. However, the brand paused its collection activities after its 15th anniversary in Spring/Summer 2013. To mark its 20th anniversary, it relaunched with a new structure starting with the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection. The return of the originator of the luxury street concept, born from scratch, delighted fashionistas worldwide, a recent memory for many.

The relationship between MEDICOM TOY and mastermind JAPAN is deep, beginning with the creation of a BE@RBRICK collaboration model in 2004. The BE@RBRICK, featuring the brand's iconic skull motif under the theme of "LOVE & PEACE," generated significant buzz with each release, symbolizing the increasingly intertwined relationship between fashion and figures.

The model being released this time is the WHITE CHROME version, a first for the colorway. The skull is placed on the abdomen of the lustrous, pure white body, with the mastermind JAPAN logo on the back. Like the previously released BLACK, GOLD, and CHROME SILVER versions, this is the return of a BE@RBRICK for adults, embodying the brand's pride within a simple design. This model will be available at "2G," a new studio that has just opened in Shibuya PARCO. It is an item befitting its role as a vanguard of Japan's proud art toy scene, broadcasting to the world.
