Launched in 2003 as an annual stage for announcing MEDICOM TOY's new products, the 'MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION' marks its 22nd year. This year's event will be held for six days from Tuesday, July 23rd to Sunday, July 28th, 2024, at Space O, B3F of Omotesando Hills Main Building in Tokyo.

Since its founding in 1996, MEDICOM TOY has been planning and manufacturing character figures across a wide range of fields, including movies, TV, comics, and games, under the concept of 'Creating what we want.' In 2001, they released the block-type bear figure 'BE@RBRICK,' and have since produced diverse collaborations with artists, brands, companies, and characters worldwide.

The 'MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION' began in 2003 as a platform to unveil MEDICOM TOY's new products. It has become a summer tradition, drawing global fans who anticipate a space to view, play with, and enjoy products created with the sole focus of 'Creating what we want,' unconstrained by genre or borders.

This year, inspired by the creativity, diversity, and joy of sweets, the exhibition unfolds in a pop and colorful, extraordinary 'Candy Town' theme. It will showcase an extensive collection of toys, including BE@RBRICK, MAFEX®, and UDF, alongside new items from MLE and FABRICK®.

Admission is free, and visitors can freely explore the exhibition at their leisure during the event dates. Additional attractions are also planned for attendees to enjoy.

Beyond new product displays, the annual archive special exhibition is another highlight of this event.

First, we honor the artist NAGNAGNAG, who passed away suddenly on November 3rd last year, and who had been bringing surprise and emotion to the world through his work since releasing his first original sofubi, 'Biorhythm,' on August 15th, 2008. A special exhibition, 'NAGNAGNAG Archive Exhibition,' will be held within this exhibition to commemorate his achievements, following his collaborations with MEDICOM TOY on numerous works since 'BE@RBRICK SERIES 32' in 2016.

Furthermore, a curated selection of 'sofubi' from MEDICOM TOY's extensive past releases will be showcased. This special exhibition brings together a grand collection of beloved heroes and unique characters.
