MEDICOM TOY is releasing a new VCD UNDERCOVER BEAR. This iteration is a reimagining of the popular character "UNDERCOVER BEAR" by Densuke28, who previously collaborated with the brand on items last year.

UNDERCOVER, who garnered attention this summer with new colorways of their "HUMBUGER LAMP" collaboration with MEDICOM TOY, is back.
The collaborator for this project, Densuke28, was born in Tokyo in 1993. After graduating from Tama Art University's Department of Information Design, Media Arts Course, he has been involved in planning and directing across various fields, pursuing creation in a wide range of domains. He is known for his "BUGGY OBJECTS" series, which visualizes images based on his own sense of déjà vu using video game glitch aesthetics, and he also produces the virtual performer "Magic Bibby."
Last year, under the title "MAD OBJECTS," items featuring graphics that reinterpreted UNDERCOVER's iconic motifs using Densuke 28's signature techniques were released. The promotional video for this collection also became a talking point.

The "VCD UNDERCOVER BEAR x Densuke28" transforms the familiar sight of a wide-eyed bear cub into a glitch-induced proliferation. This piece offers a fresh stimulus through the subtle sense of unease it introduces into a familiar scene.
