To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the legendary wrestling promotion U.W.F., which featured Akira Maeda, Satoru Sayama (The Tiger, Super Tiger), Yoshiaki Fujiwara, Nobuhiko Takada, Kazuo Yamazaki, Osamu Kido, and Mach Hayato, a special event titled 'U.W.F. 40th Anniversary 'Mugendai Kinenbi'' will be held from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, to Monday, January 12, 2026, at the 9th floor of Shosen Book Tower in Akihabara, Tokyo. MEDICOM TOY will release collaboration items, including Sofubi figures of the wrestlers.

The legend of the first U.W.F. still lives on among fans!
U.W.F. – officially the Universal Wrestling Federation – was a professional wrestling promotion established in March 1984 by Hisashi Shinma, known as the 'radical schemer' during his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Although its active period was only a year and a half, the legend of the first U.W.F., which featured Yoshiaki Fujiwara, Satoru Sayama (The Tiger, Super Tiger), Akira Maeda, Nobuhiko Takada, and Kazuo Yamazaki, continues to live on among fans. It is said that current mixed martial arts evolved from the foundations laid by U.W.F.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first U.W.F.'s founding in 2024, a special event, 'U.W.F. 40th Anniversary 'Mugendai Kinenbi',' will be held from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, to Monday, January 12, 2026, at the 9th floor of Shosen Book Tower in Akihabara, Tokyo. The event will showcase a curated selection of photos from Quest Corporation's archive of over 4,000 valuable images, which were used for U.W.F.'s video and film production at the time. Rare photographs of matches, backstage moments, and off-the-cuff shots will be on display.
Within the venue, 'Wrestle,' the world's first professional wrestling specialty store, will be revived, selling reproductions of U.W.F. merchandise from the era, event commemorative items, a KAMINOGE special issue (catalog), framed photographs, and collaboration products.
MEDICOM TOY will release Sofubi figures, a ring mat, autograph balls, and T-shirts. As these are all items that can only be obtained during this event, fans should not miss this opportunity.

Size: Approx. 65mm in height each
Specifications: A capsule toy format featuring a printed autograph from one of seven wrestlers (Akira Maeda, Super Tiger, Yoshiaki Fujiwara, Nobuhiko Takada, Kazuo Yamazaki, Osamu Kido, Mach Hayato). The back features the U.W.F. logo. Autograph balls come in four colors.
