Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the "Chogokin" brand, now captivating fans not only in Japan but worldwide, is set to release a collaboration model with MASTERMIND, BAPE®️, and BE@RBRICK.

Launched in February 1974 by Popy (now Bandai's Boys Toy Division / BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division), "Chogokin" (die-cast alloy) celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2024. Primarily made of die-cast zinc alloy, its substantial weight captivated boys, leading to immense popularity. It has since spawned numerous derivative brands and become a global character toy brand.

Meanwhile, since its establishment in 1993, BAPE®️ has remained a symbol of street fashion, leading the scene for over 30 years. It has unveiled iconic designs and items such as "Ape Head," "BAPE CAMO," "BAPE STA," "Shark Hoodie," and "Baby Milo®," along with original patterns and characters. With stores across Japan, the US, UK, France, China, and other Asian countries, it has garnered strong support from a wide range of demographics globally.

mastermind JAPAN began in 1997, focusing on MADE IN JAPAN by incorporating Japanese materials, traditional techniques, and the latest technology into ready-to-wear fashion for global dissemination. After pausing its collection activities for the Spring/Summer 2013 season, it resumed with the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection. Simultaneously, it launched the new global line, MASTERMIND WORLD.

The "Chogokin BE@RBRICK MASTERMIND VS BAPE®️" set to be released this time is a supreme piece, featuring mastermind JAPAN's iconic skull and BAPE®️'s Shark Hoodie enveloped in full BAPE CAMO, rendered in BE@RBRICK form. Available in two colors: green and yellow. The moment you hold it, the weight, characteristic of die-cast "Chogokin," seems to convey the history and pride of each brand.
