Texalium, a material widely used for decorative elements on snowboards and car interiors, is familiar to material enthusiasts. Now, MEDICOM TOY is releasing the "BE@RBRICK GOLD TEXALIUM 1000%" made with this Texalium.

TEXALIUM is a material made by depositing aluminum onto fiberglass. Developed by the American fiberglass manufacturer HEXCEL, it is known for being lightweight, highly resilient, and possessing the beautiful appearance of aluminum fibers.

In 2019, MEDICOM TOY collaborated with AMIREX, a carbon think tank that develops luxury products under the concept of "playing with materials," to release a silver "BE@RBRICK 1000% TEXALIUM." It garnered attention not only in Japan but also internationally.

The new model, "BE@RBRICK GOLD TEXALIUM 1000%," is a hybrid material of gold Texalium and dry carbon. The dry carbon, molded using an autoclave (large pressure vessel), is a masterpiece finished by hand, piece by piece.
