A new project has launched at Gallery by Amplifier, bringing Yoshitaka Amano's original characters to life as sofubi figures. Following the first release, "NEPTROS," in January 2025, comes "NEPTROS (2nd Edition)" with a new color scheme, and the second new piece, "VALCANO."

The "VALCANO" and "NEPTROS (2nd Edition)" figures depict characters from "DEVA LOKA" (Latin for "place where gods dwell"), a project Yoshitaka Amano has been developing as a life's work since his solo exhibition in Berlin in 2008. This sculptural project aims to explore a worldview encompassing everything Amano has ever created, including anime and games, centered around the themes of "Big Bang" and "Creation."

"NEPTROS (2nd Edition)" features a main color change to red, embodying Amano's beloved elements like Neptune, centaurs, and Western armor. "VALCANO" is striking with its fox-like head, massive arms, lightning-bolt patterns, and fiery motif, exuding a strong sense of Japanese aesthetics.

Both figures include a guarantee card, with "VALCANO" featuring Yoshitaka Amano's handwritten signature. As these are limited-edition items available via lottery, interested parties should visit MCT TOKYO immediately to enter the draw.
