One day, as Nobita was working on his summer vacation "drawing" homework, a torn piece of a painting suddenly fell before him. Using the secret gadget "Enter-and-Explore Light," he enters the painting to explore and encounters a mysterious girl named Claire. At her request, Doraemon and friends head to the world within the painting, the Principality of Artria! There, they discover, lies the legendary jewel known as "Artria Blue."

However, a legend of "world destruction" passed down in the Principality of Artria resurfaces, plunging them into a major crisis! Can Nobita and his friends break the legend and save the world!?

Claire, from the 45th anniversary film "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Ocean," is a girl from the mysterious country of Artria depicted in the painting. She appears before Doraemon and friends by chance and joins them on their adventure. Chai is a small demon who appeared with Claire, and loves chocolate.
