Introducing "2G," a new studio concept that fuses art toys, a concept shop, and a gallery. Here, we present new items from MEDICOM TOY scheduled for release in November 2024 at its two locations: 2G TOKYO in Shibuya, Tokyo, and 2G OSAKA in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. This month features collaboration items with Hajime Sorayama: "SORAYAMA HIKING NORMAL Ver.," "SORAYAMA HIKING EYEPATCH Ver.," and "BE@RBRICK SORAYAMA LIGHT Ver. 400% / 1000%."

Hajime Sorayama, a globally renowned artist who gained fame with his "Sexy Robot" series (starting in 1978) and continues to present works exploring the beauty of the human body and machinery, has collaborated with "2G" on two new items this month, also designing the "2G" logo.

The first is a die-cast statue of "SORAYAMA HIKING" drawn by Hajime Sorayama. This original character, a charming figure with a metallic hardness exquisitely matched by its silver and gold finishes, is brought to life in three dimensions. It will be available in two versions: NORMAL Ver. and EYEPATCH Ver., featuring an eye patch.

The second item is the LIGHT model of BE@RBRICK SORAYAMA. It features a light-up unit in the head visor that emits a horizontal line of light. This is a beautiful piece, its metallic body seemingly having stepped right out of a Hajime Sorayama artwork, creating a perfect synergy.
