Synchronize, or "Sync." for short, is MEDICOM TOY's original brand that proposes items connecting artists and objects. Sync. has released many statues inspired by Banksy's graffiti, and their new work, "Elephant with Bomb ORIGINAL Ver.," will be released as an exclusive item for MEDICOM TOY PLUS and 2G.

Widely known as one of Banksy's signature works, "the elephant with a rocket-shaped bomb on its back" was originally created as a stencil on a street wall in Barcelona, Spain, in 2002. This shocking piece, a scathing satire on science and nature, and subjugation through violence, is faithfully reproduced in three dimensions as "Elephant with Bomb ORIGINAL Ver." in this graffiti rendered in shades of black and white.

Recently, amidst the global spread of the Black Lives Matter movement sparked by the George Floyd incident, Banksy has successively unveiled "a portrait of a black figure with an American flag burning in its candle flame" and "a life-size bronze statue idea sketch of protestors toppling the statue of Edward Colston, who amassed immense wealth through the slave trade in the 17th century." Bristol, believed to be his hometown, was a port city in western England that once prospered from the black slave trade.

"At first, I thought it was better to stay silent. But this is my problem too." There is no doubt that this work, "Elephant with Bomb ORIGINAL Ver.," is one of the inspirations behind his statement. This item, released at a time when the era is unexpectedly poised for significant change, should carry a special weight.
