The textile design for the "BE@RBRICK KVADRAT x Akira Minagawa 1000%" featured here was handled by Akira Minagawa, designer of the fashion brand minä perhonen, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

Born in Tokyo in 1967, Minagawa established "minä," the predecessor to "minä perhonen," in 1995. He is engaged in a wide range of design activities that align with daily life, centering on textile design using hand-drawn patterns, as well as clothing, furniture, ceramics, and spatial direction for stores and accommodations.
