Works by artists, brands, and content selected by Akashi himself from around the world, all on display.

"AKASHIC RECORDS," featuring works curated entirely by President and CEO Tatsuhiko Akashi, began as MEDICOM TOY's most experimental and artistic pop-up event during the Halloween season of 2020 and has been held twice since.
This iteration, designated "2.5," marks the first time "AKASHIC RECORDS" will exhibit at Art Fair Tokyo.
At the venue, works selected by Akashi himself from artists, brands, and content worldwide will be displayed, with sales conducted via lottery online for a global audience. Here, we introduce the participating artists and their works. Please note that the sales price for each work will be announced on the website.
"AKASHIC RECORDS" has consistently demonstrated the intent and direction of a toy maker within the ever-evolving markets of fashion, art, and toys. Attention is focused on the chemical reactions that will occur when its unique worldview is newly inscribed at "Art Fair Tokyo."

midland Creation
midland Creation proposes new styles of inheriting Japanese culture, combining traditional techniques passed down by artisans with innovative ideas that break free from existing concepts. Among the many initiatives by producer Yoshito Naka, the development of a 400% BE@RBRICK incorporating movable joints into Kutani porcelain's white glaze has added a new chapter to BE@RBRICK's history. The "Kutani BE@RBRICK Sometsuke Shiki-ka Sensai" (Kutani BE@RBRICK with Four Seasons Flowers and Fan Motifs in Underglaze Blue) presented this time is also an ultimate masterpiece, meticulously hand-painted by a traditional Kutani ware artisan. Sometsuke refers to painting with cobalt-based glaze on a fired white bisque, then applying a transparent glaze and firing it again. We invite you to appreciate the profound beauty of its indigo blue.
