The film "Killer Condom: The Director's Cut" will have its nationwide theatrical release starting Friday, August 4th, at Cinemaart Shinjuku and other theaters. To commemorate its release in Japan for the first time in 25 years, MEDICOM TOY has decided to re-release the "Killer Condom" friction toy.

A series of bizarre murders, where male genitalia are bitten off, erupts in New York. The culprit is a condom-shaped monster, "Killer Condom," created by a mad scientist!

"Killer Condom," a bizarre horror-comedy masterpiece, is an adaptation of the best-selling German comic by Ralf König, translated in 18 countries. Produced by Ralf S. Dietrich, known for "Evita" and "Dead Man Walking." Directed by Martin Walz, a genius of German comedy. H.R. Giger, who won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for "Alien," handled the creature design and famously stated it was the "only film I like among the works I've been involved with." Another highlight is the special effects handled by master director Jörg Buttgereit, known for "Nekromantik" and "Der Todesking."

The cast features a lineup of superb European actors, including Udo Samel from "The Pianist," Peter Lohmeyer from "The Miracle of Bern," Iris Berben from "Triangle of Sadness," and Otto Sander from "Das Boot" and "Wings of Desire," delivering nonsensical yet passionate performances.

To celebrate the release of "Killer Condom: The Director's Cut," newly produced in HD remaster, MEDICOM TOY is re-releasing the "Killer Condom" friction toy that was originally released 25 years ago. Equipped with a "runaway action gimmick" where both legs move and it walks with a clatter, thanks to a friction mechanism (clockwork), familiar from tin toys. You can experience the terror as if you were in the movie!

The packaging features a special full-color paper header designed by Rockin'Jelly Bean, the same as for the Japanese release in 1998. This is a collector's item that's fun to play with or display. Now, immerse yourself in the unimaginable world of the film!
