On November 30, 2022, KISS, the legendary rock band currently on their final world tour, held a one-night-only encore performance in Japan at the Tokyo Dome. To commemorate this event, it has been decided that the KISS BE@RBRICK, which sold out on the day of its release in 2008, will be reissued in an all-new, ultimate chrome version.

Formed in the United States in 1973, KISS garnered attention with their flamboyant white-face makeup and performances. Their song "Rock and Roll All Nite," from their third album *Kiss Alive!*, became a smash hit. Following this, the double album *Alive!*, recorded live in Detroit, became a massive success, earning a platinum disc. With numerous signature songs like "Detroit Rock City," "Hard Luck Woman," and "Beth," they rose to become a global rock phenomenon.

Their first visit to Japan was in 1977. The Budokan concerts were broadcast on NHK's music program "Young Music Show," offering many young fans their first rock music experience. Since then, they have consistently held concerts in Japan, totaling 12 times. In 2015, they performed with Momoiro Clover Z at the Tokyo Dome. More recently, in 2019, YOSHIKI, a great admirer of KISS, made a surprise appearance at the same venue, which was a hot topic.

Originally scheduled to conclude all touring activities with a performance in New York in July 2021, their plans were inevitably altered by the global pandemic that began the previous year. Since their South American tour in April 2022, they have been performing at arenas worldwide with their usual frequency, and have now decided to add an encore performance in Japan. This will be the very last chance to see them live.

Each member's makeup persona is called a persona, and KISS revolutionized the rock scene with their merchandise development that emphasized these characters. This BE@RBRICK release features four types: THE DEMON, THE STARCHILD, THE CATMAN, and THE SPACEMAN. The first wave includes the CHROME Ver. of "THE DEMON" (Gene Simmons), who hails from hell, and "THE STARCHILD" (Paul Stanley), the warrior of love, available in 100% & 400% and 1000% sizes. "THE CATMAN" and "THE SPACEMAN" are scheduled for release soon, so collect all four to recreate their live performances that have enthralled audiences for half a century.
