From MEDICOM TOY's MAFEX action figure series, the "X-MEN" line welcomes its latest addition, "MAFEX ICEMAN (COMIC Ver.)"! This figure masterfully balances the iconic comic book form with exceptional articulation. With growing anticipation following the announcement of their full participation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), we'll now introduce the X-MEN characters currently available in the MAFEX series.

Created in 1963 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, "X-Men" is a comic series depicting the struggles and conflicts of mutants, born with superpowers yet persecuted by humanity. Professor X, Charles Xavier, guides mutants in the proper use of their abilities while fighting to overcome prejudice.

Over the years, the series evolved into a beloved cornerstone of Marvel Comics. In the 1990s, its anime and fighting game adaptations gained significant popularity in Japan. This was followed by the live-action film "X-Men" in 2000.

The new MAFEX release, "Iceman," also known as Robert "Bobby" Drake, is a mutant capable of freezing the moisture in the air around him to transform his body into hardened ice. He first appeared in the comic "The X-Men #1" (September 1963) and has been a key member of the original X-Men, the "First Class" (Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, and Marvel Girl).

The "MAFEX ICEMAN (COMIC Ver.)" is rendered in its comic book image with a clear body and applied paintwork. It also comes with a cool display stand and effect parts that recreate Iceman's ability to freeze atmospheric moisture.
