A Cat Lost in a World of Flood: The Beginning of an Unimaginable Adventure

As the world is engulfed by a great flood and cities teeter on the brink of disappearing, a lone cat decides to embark on a journey. Aboard a drifting boat with other animals, they face unexpected dangers, forging bonds and growing stronger amidst the challenges. Can they change their fate? And what lies at the end of this adventure?

Directed by Gints Zilbalodis, a Latvian creator acclaimed for his feature debut 'Away,' the film 'Flow' is his second feature, for which he also wrote the script and composed the music. Completed over five years, it garnered the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Motion Picture at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, and the Annie Award for Best Independent Feature and Best Writing at the 52nd Annie Awards. It also became the first Latvian film to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 97th Academy Awards.

Its release in Japan in March 2025 was met with widespread acclaim, its poetic narrative, conveyed solely through visuals and music without dialogue, deeply moving audiences.
