Space Invaders, first released by TAITO Corporation on June 16, 1978, became an instant phenomenon. This groundbreaking shooting game, where players defend against enemies descending from the top of the screen and shoot down UFOs for bonus points, left an indelible mark on gaming history. Since then, new iterations of Space Invaders have been released to suit changing times, and even 40 years after its debut, it remains beloved by fans worldwide.

Space Invaders is also known for its inclusion in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The perfectly realized pixelated design of the invaders is truly a timeless masterpiece. Now, Space Invaders makes its debut as a 400% BE@RBRICK and a MEDICOM TOY LIFE ENTERTAINMENT item.
