MEDICOM TOY

By Japanese artist Gurihiru
Deadpool Reimagined as an Action Figure

Text by SHINNO Kunihiko

The art version of Deadpool, as drawn by Japanese artist Gurihiru, who previously worked on variant covers for "Deadpool Kills Deadpool #1," is now available as a fully articulated action figure from MAFEX!

Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist Rob Liefeld, Deadpool first appeared in "New Mutants #98" in 1991. He has since made guest appearances in numerous comics, and his popularity has surged in Japan with the recent release of his solo films. Possessing an immortal body, Deadpool is unique among Marvel characters for his awareness of being in a comic book world and his ability to break the fourth wall to speak directly to the reader.

Includes interchangeable head parts with distinct expressions, interchangeable buckle parts, and two dedicated katana swords. Various hand parts allow for recreating dynamic action poses, such as dual-wielding swords. The swords can also be sheathed in the scabbard on his back. Own this superhero who has leaped from the world of art.
