MAFEX Gary "Eggsy" Unwin

The character from Matthew Vaughn's ultra-intense, non-stop spy action film "Kingsman" (2015) is finally here as a "MAFEX" fully posable action figure!

The visual artistry that thrilled film fans worldwide in "Kick-Ass" ('10) and "X-Men: First Class" ('11) is equally brilliant in this film, which became a new era of spy movies with its unpredictable, thrilling plot. We hear many women in Japan have been captivated by the charm of British gentlemen impeccably dressed in high-end suits?

The setting is London. The story begins when a gentleman named Harry Hart (Colin Firth) appears before Gary "Eggsy" Unwin (Taron Egerton), a young man living a dissolute life as an unemployed individual after losing his father 17 years ago. Harry's public face is that of a tailor at a high-end tailor shop, but his secret identity is a spy for the clandestine international intelligence agency "Kingsman." Upon learning that his father was also once a "Kingsman" candidate, Eggsy accepts Harry's recruitment and embarks on a grueling trial alongside other candidates. Meanwhile, Harry was investigating the activities of IT mogul Richmond Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson), who was plotting a terrorist plan...

Despite its wild content, the film also carries a profound message at its core, much like Professor Higgins teaching the flower girl Eliza to shed her Cockney accent and become a lady in "My Fair Lady" ('64): "People are not defined by their birth."

The character making his MAFEX debut is spy trainee Gary "Eggsy" Unwin. Dressed in a British suit, he comes with two head parts featuring different expressions and hairstyles. A wealth of accessory parts are included, such as an assault rifle, a shoe with a hidden knife in the tip, and the assassin Gazelle's prosthetic leg, allowing for faithful recreation of the film's excitement. Head sculpt by Kyoichi Shimazaki; sculpt by PERFECT-STUDIO. Approximately 160mm in height. Scheduled for December release, priced at 8,424 yen.
