Epson has announced a new model of its "MOVERIO" see-through, binocular smart glasses, which allow users to enjoy a large screen experience right before their eyes simply by wearing them like glasses. The new model is scheduled for release in late March 2021.

Full HD, 120-inch equivalent virtual screen for high-definition, immersive visuals
These see-through, binocular smart glasses allow you to see a large screen display right in front of your eyes simply by wearing the headset like a pair of glasses.
The new models are the "BT-40S" controller set model and the "BT-40" headset-only model. Their compact and lightweight design makes them convenient to carry, allowing you to enjoy content not only at home but also during travel or stays away from home.
The headset's display utilizes Epson's proprietary silicon OLED technology. With a Full HD resolution and a virtual screen size equivalent to 120 inches, it delivers high-definition, immersive visuals through the headset's display.
Furthermore, because they are see-through, allowing you to remain aware of your surroundings while watching, you won't need to remove the headset and interrupt your viewing to grab a snack or drink.
The controller features a roughly 3-inch touch panel. Running on the Android OS, it offers smartphone-like operability. The new model also supports applications from the Google Play Store, expanding its utility to include viewing various online video content.
It can also connect to Android smartphones and tablets that support USB Type-C DP Alternate Mode, allowing you to view your smartphone's screen on the large display.
The new MOVERIO model allows you to enjoy content on a large screen, no matter the time or place. It's a tool for a more immersive movie and video experience.
