Multi-Device Support, Enhanced Microsoft Account Integration

This overhaul, the most significant since MSN's launch approximately 20 years ago, aligns with Microsoft's company-wide shift towards a 'mobile-first, cloud-first' strategy. The new MSN features browser display optimization for each device, a user interface (UI) designed with touch operations in mind, and personalized features integrated with Microsoft accounts.

The improved readability of the device-optimized browser display is immediately apparent when experiencing the preview site (http://preview.msn.com/) for the new MSN. Furthermore, it boasts a user interface (UI) redesigned for touch operations, allowing for flick gestures and customization of content placement on the homepage.

Additionally, personalized features integrated with Microsoft accounts have been enhanced. Signing in with a Microsoft account allows users to access information such as registered shopping lists and stock watchlists from any device. This enables direct access to desired information in a user-friendly design across various devices like PCs, tablets, and smartphones.

Content is curated from popular sources through partnerships with media outlets, including national newspapers such as Yomiuri Shimbun, Asahi Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun, and Sankei Shimbun, as well as The Wall Street Journal. It is organized into ten sections: News, Sports, Entertainment, Money, Food & Recipes, Health & Fitness, Autos, Travel, Video, and Weather.

The online advertising business, 'Microsoft Advertising,' will also see a revamp of its ad products. With the concept of 'Reach, Engage, Quality,' the aim is to expand reach, enhance impression value, and improve advertising effectiveness through high-precision targeting utilizing Microsoft accounts.

In conjunction with this renewal, iOS and Android apps are also scheduled to be released soon.
