The "Leica M-P," a new addition to the lineup of full-frame sensor rangefinder digital cameras, is scheduled for release in September at Leica Stores, Leica Boutiques, and authorized Leica dealers.

The "Leica M-P": The Ideal for Professional Photographers
Inheriting the traditions of the M system, including its exceptional functionality, compact body, and robust reliability built for years of use, the "Leica M-P" is a professional tool born from the fusion of cutting-edge digital technology.
With a buffer memory capacity doubled to 2GB compared to the "Leica M," its rapid shooting capabilities are enhanced in all situations, allowing for swift responses to capture fleeting moments across diverse scenarios. This ensures that decisive shutter opportunities are never missed.
The LCD monitor's cover glass is made from exceptionally scratch-resistant sapphire glass. A non-reflective coating applied to both sides of the sapphire glass further improves the visibility of the LCD monitor under challenging lighting conditions.
A Minimalist and Understated Exterior Design
To cater to users who prefer their camera to be a discreet presence, the "Leica M-P" omits the familiar red logo mark found on M-series cameras. Instead, the traditional "Leica" logo is engraved on the top cover. This design further embodies Leica's philosophy of focusing solely on essential elements for photography and eliminating the superfluous, a hallmark of M cameras. The camera is available in two finishes: black paint and classic silver chrome.
