New Flagship Model to be Compact!?
The new model to be announced is positioned as a new grade above the flagship model of Fujifilm's digital interchangeable-lens cameras, the "X-Pro1". The model name "X-T1" is considered likely.
The image sensor, which is key to image quality, is expected to be an "APS-C sensor," which is mainstream in the interchangeable-lens camera category. The X Series is known for its "high resolution that rivals full-frame sensor cameras," so if this is a new flagship model, expectations for its imaging performance are even higher.
The exterior photograph released maintains the classic design common to the series, but the body appears to be smaller, exuding an elegant and modern atmosphere. We look forward to surprises in the specifications, which have not yet been disclosed, at the official announcement on Tuesday, January 28th.
