You can now turn off the heater from anywhere if you forgot, and during the dry season, you can start humidifying before you get home.—Balmuda, known for releasing popular home appliances, has launched its appliance management app, "UniAuto." The iPhone app is now available for free on the App Store.

Technology Connecting Balmuda Products and Devices Like Smartphones
Good news for those who have worried, "Did I forget to turn off the heater?" on their way out, or who wish their room was humidified before arriving home during the upcoming dry season.
The newly released appliance management app, "UniAuto," supports two Balmuda products: the "SmartHeater," an aluminum radiator-type heater, and the "Rain" humidifier, which features a tankless structure.
Using UniAuto, you can check the status of these products and operate them remotely.
Since the SmartHeater and Rain are equipped with Wi-Fi functionality from the start, there's no need for additional attachments. As long as you have an internet and Wi-Fi connection at the installation location, you can start using them immediately.
The UniAuto app is compatible with all iPhones from iPhone 4 onwards running iOS 6 or later, and iPod touch (Retina Display models). Support for iPad and Android OS is planned for 2014.
