Classic beauty condensed into a compact body
Olympus has excelled in producing small SLR cameras since the era of film photography. The classic style of the latest mirrorless camera, the "OLYMPUS OM-D E-M10 Mark II," with its compact body, evokes its rich history.

The "E-M10 Mark II" boasts a classic style, achieved through the use of metal not only in the body but also in the dials, complemented by a leather-textured grip material. The dials and buttons are thoughtfully designed in placement and shape for comfortable operation while looking through the viewfinder, resulting in a stylish, user-friendly, and compact camera.
Compared to typical entry-level digital SLRs, the mirrorless camera's significantly smaller body offers both portability and an exquisite balance of image quality, making it a major draw.
It features a built-in electronic viewfinder (EVF), allowing for comfortable shooting even when the monitor is difficult to see in bright sunlight. It provides a field of view of approximately 100% and a magnification of 1.23x (0.62x in 35mm equivalent), ensuring a sufficient viewing angle.
5-axis image stabilization, first featured in an entry-level digital interchangeable-lens camera
Olympus believes that to capture truly high-quality photos, it is essential to address camera shake in addition to having excellent lenses, image sensors, and image processing engines. This led to the development of "in-body 5-axis image stabilization."
The "E-M10 Mark II" is the first entry-model digital interchangeable-lens camera, including SLRs, to feature this powerful image stabilization function.
In addition to the "pitch" and "yaw" rotational shake common in digital SLRs, the "5-axis image stabilization" compensates for five directions of shake: "roll" shake that hinders night photography, and "shift" shake in the "horizontal" and "vertical" directions that often occurs during macro photography. This allows for sharper, more beautiful photos in a variety of shooting situations.
