iPod touch Now Compatible with Apple Music
The new generation iPod touch has been released, embodying Apple's profound passion for music. It now supports the new Apple Music service, and features the same A8 chip as the iPhone 6 and the advanced M8 motion coprocessor. The camera has also been upgraded to 8 megapixels, enabling shooting functions similar to the iPhone, such as slow-motion recording.

Enhanced Performance with iPhone-Grade Processor
This iPod touch is compatible with Apple Music, Apple's new streaming music service launched in July 2015. Apple Music offers unlimited access to millions of songs and radio stations for ¥980 per month for an individual plan. The Wi-Fi specifications have also been updated to support IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac, ensuring a seamless streaming experience for Apple Music over Wi-Fi. Naturally, music stored on the iPod can be enjoyed offline to your heart's content.
While the camera capabilities of the iPod touch previously lagged behind the latest iPhone models, the new model boasts 8-megapixel photography and offers usability comparable to the iPhone. Although it's not the exact same camera as the latest iPhone, differing in aperture value, it supports features like 720p video recording at 120fps, slow-motion burst mode, and time-lapse video, all introduced with the iPhone 6.
Additionally, a 128GB storage model is now available, exclusively through the Apple Store. This increased capacity is ideal for storing photos, which have grown larger with improved camera performance, and is also beneficial for running large game applications.
With its enhanced compatibility with Apple Music, the iPod touch has become more appealing as a portable music player. Furthermore, improvements in basic performance, such as camera capabilities and storage capacity, suggest it will also expand its role as an information device.
