The highly anticipated ultra-wide model "SIGMA dp0 Quattro" joins the series.
SIGMA will release the "SIGMA dp0 Quattro," an ultra-high-quality digital camera equipped with a dedicated 14mm F4 lens (equivalent to 21mm in 35mm format) optimized for its Quattro sensor, on Friday, July 10th. By combining a high-performance sensor with a dedicated lens, it delivers sharp, high-performance rendering from open aperture, capturing every detail of the subject.

The "SIGMA dp0 Quattro" features an ultra-wide, dedicated lens developed in-house by SIGMA, optimized for the Quattro sensor. To achieve the highest optical performance, this lens incorporates four FLD glass elements, boasting performance equivalent to fluorite, and two SLD glass elements.
This large-diameter aspherical lens minimizes distortion, even at ultra-wide angles, achieving less than 1% distortion during infinity focus. By suppressing distortion to a nearly imperceptible level, which is often noticeable in ultra-wide lenses, the lens's performance is maximized. Its wide 91-degree field of view, deep depth of field, and perspective-driven rendering excel in architectural photography, tight indoor spaces, and landscape shots.
The camera features the "Foveon X3 Direct Image Sensor (generation name 'Quattro')" with its full-color, three-layer structure, the world's only sensor capable of capturing all light information. Because it is a three-layer sensor, it produces no false colors and requires no low-pass filter. This allows for the easy capture of transparent, vibrant photographs that are difficult to achieve through filters.
Also available is the "SIGMA DP0 QUATTRO LCD VIEWFINDER KIT," which includes the optional "LCD VIEWFINDER LVF-01." This accessory attaches to the LCD monitor to cut external light, magnifying the screen 2.5 times for easy focus confirmation. Like a DSLR, it allows users to look through the viewfinder, providing a secure grip.
