Exclusive Leather Case to Match the Camera

The "Leica D-LUX5 Titanium" will be sold in Japan as a set with a gray, high-quality leather case, with a planned limited production of 1,000 sets. Pricing is open, with the direct store price set at ¥115,500.

For this limited edition, the popular "Leica D-LUX5" compact camera features a titanium anodized finish, resulting in a body with a silky texture. The included high-quality cowhide case is a titanium color that complements the camera, not only allowing for stylish transport but also providing robust protection against impacts. The case's magnetic closure allows for quick access to the camera, ensuring you never miss an inspirational moment or a unique scene.

The specifications are the same as the currently available "Leica D-LUX5." Equipped with a large-aperture Leica DC Vario-Summicron lens, it offers a practical zoom range of approximately 24-90mm (35mm equivalent), catering to a wide array of shooting genres from macro close-ups to wide-angle shots capturing architecture and landscapes, as well as reportage and portraits. It employs a 1/1.63-inch CCD sensor, large for this class of camera, achieving natural color reproduction and sharp, high-quality images with excellent contrast. While it offers full auto mode, it also uniquely allows for manual shooting, uncommon in compact cameras, enabling precise control for carefully composed shots as well as spontaneous snapshots. Furthermore, the inclusion of "Photoshop Lightroom 3" significantly expands the post-shooting possibilities.
