Vibrant Master Designs Gather in Daikanyama
Following solo exhibitions in Paris and Shanghai, an exhibition by Claudio Colucci, an internationally active designer known for his bold colors, curved forms, and original use of materials, will be held at Hillside Forum & Gallery in Tokyo (Daikanyama).

A Sense of Color Cultivated in Italy and Switzerland, Blossoming in Japan
The exhibition is titled 'COLOURISTIC!'. For Colucci, 'color' represents human 'emotions and will,' and is linked to living and daily life. He states, 'To live richly is to have one's own color and to first confront all colors.'
This exhibition, featuring a fantastical installation woven from color, light, and water, alongside recent original furniture pieces that are colorful and innovative, will convey the potential of 'color,' 'materials,' and 'design' for Japan's future living environments, including clothing, food, and housing.
Colucci spent his childhood in Southern Italy and the Swiss Alps, fostering a rich sensibility for color and light. He has since continued his design activities, moving between various stages in Geneva, Paris, London, and then Tokyo and China.
His rich creations, the result of repeated chemical reactions from what he absorbed and experienced in each place, can be fully appreciated at this exhibition.
Also on sale will be 'Kaleidoscope,' a design collection published to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Claudio Colucci Design TOKYO. It is a volume filled with Colucci's aspiration: 'I want to continue creating unique designs while viewing the world from various perspectives.'
