Refined Driving and Aggressive Design: The IS Evolves
Since its debut in 1999, the IS has been a compact FR sports sedan offered in approximately 40 countries and regions.

With "refinement" as its development keyword for this minor change, Lexus states it has further honed the "enjoyable driving experience that allows the driver to communicate with the car" and the "aggressive, sporty design" that the IS has always pursued.
The electric power steering system has been revamped, adopting a variable gear ratio for the rack and pinion. This results in a more linear steering feel, making it easier to navigate turns with less steering input at intersections and winding roads, while also contributing to straight-line stability.
The Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) has also been improved, enhancing both vehicle stability and ride comfort.

The exterior now features a new front face that further emphasizes a low center of gravity and wide stance, giving it a more determined look.
Inside, the center display and TFT LCD meter have both been enlarged to 12.3 inches, improving visibility and operability. A newly developed ornamental panel, "Forged bamboo," featuring the subtle texture of bamboo fibers, has been applied to the upper console and the start switch bezel.

Additionally, the "F SPORT" grade receives a new color, "Prominence," inspired by the fiery glow that obscures the sun, aiming for an aggressive and sporty interior.
In terms of safety, the advanced preventative safety technology "Lexus Safety System +" has been enhanced with expanded functions, including the addition of a traffic jam assist feature.
The special edition "F SPORT Mode Black V" comes equipped with black-painted forged aluminum wheels and features Ultrasuede® seats, center console, and door trim, creating a luxurious interior.

All IS300h models are hybrid variants, combining a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine producing a maximum output of 131kW (178ps) and 221Nm of torque with a motor generating 105kW (143ps) and 300Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an AT transmission.
Pricing for the IS starts at ¥5,800,000 for the IS300h, ¥6,100,000 for the IS300h "version L," ¥6,350,000 for the IS300h "F SPORT," and ¥6,750,000 for the newly introduced special edition IS300h "F SPORT Mode Black V."
