A Soft Top with Sound Insulation, Available in Six Colors

An open-top variant has arrived for the Amalfi, which was announced in the summer of 2025.
The Amalfi is a 2+ coupe model, following in the lineage of the California, Portofino, and Roma. The Amalfi Spider, inheriting this lineage, also features a front-mid V8 engine.
The design maintains the proportions and volume of the Amalfi, allowing for an appreciation of its clean, integrated body design even in its open-top form.
Its silhouette is preserved even with the roof down. The soft top can be opened or closed in 13.5 seconds, and can be operated at speeds up to 60 km/h.
The soft top is constructed from a five-layer sandwich acoustic fabric, engineered to effectively dampen road and external noise. It reportedly achieves sound insulation comparable to a retractable hardtop.
Furthermore, its compact packaging when stowed measures just 220 mm in thickness. The luggage space offers 225 liters with the roof closed and 172 liters with it open.
Enjoying the interplay of colors is another pleasure of a soft top. Four shades of tailored fabric and two technical fabrics are available, with the option to combine them with contrast stitching.
The seating configuration retains two rear seats, which can accommodate children or be used for luggage, enhancing practicality.
The interior, like the exterior, maintains a clean aesthetic. Key controls are arranged on a suspension bridge crafted from machined aluminum, with secondary function switches positioned further back.
The door panels feature a sail motif, integrating the handle and armrest into a sculptural element. Personalization options include using the same fabric as the soft top for door panels and seat backs, creating a cohesive design.
The cabin is equipped with three displays: a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster for driving information, a 10.25-inch central display on the dashboard, and an 8.8-inch passenger display. The latter shows parameters like G-force and engine revs, allowing the front passenger to experience the drive as a co-pilot.
In terms of aerodynamics, bypasses above the headlights connect the front end to the engine compartment, releasing excess pressure and aiding in thermal management.
Downforce is enhanced by vortex generators integrated into the front underbody and a diffuser. The rear of the vehicle features an active wing that automatically adjusts in three stages based on the car's speed and lateral and longitudinal acceleration.
Meticulous attention has also been paid to airflow, including a wind deflector integrated into the rear seat backs, operable with a single button, which redirects airflow.
When this system is active, it diverts the airflow attempting to enter the cabin from the rear, creating a stable comfort bubble around the occupants and reducing noise.
The powertrain is the latest iteration of the 3.9-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, shared with the Amalfi. However, further refinements have been made, with dedicated calibration allowing independent control of the two turbochargers' rotational speeds, enabling them to reach up to 171,000 rpm.
Additionally, the engine control unit (ECU), also used in models like the 296 GTB and Purosangue, unlocks the engine's potential, delivering a maximum output of 640 cv.
The transmission is an 8-speed dual-clutch, with a top speed of 320 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds.
For vehicle dynamics, the Amalfi Spider employs the same ABS Evo system as the Amalfi. Utilizing data from a 6D sensor, it accurately estimates vehicle speed and optimizes brake force distribution by determining the optimal slip rate for each wheel. This ensures high effectiveness not only in straight-line braking but also under complex conditions.
The car is fitted with 20-inch tires specially developed in collaboration with partners Pirelli, Goodyear, and Bridgestone for the Amalfi Spider.
A new body color, Rosso Tramont, has been introduced to symbolize the Amalfi Spider. It features a subtle orange undertone reminiscent of the warm light of a setting sun, enriching Ferrari's palette of reds.
