A rare vehicle featuring details inspired by F. A. Porsche
F.A. Porsche was the designer behind the original 911, the 901 model, and the 904 Carrera GTS, and as a product designer, he introduced a wide range of products to the world, including mechanical watches and writing instruments.
Guided by the design philosophy "Form follows function," he realized a vision of uncompromisingly stripping down to the essentials, even in the 911.
In 1972, he co-founded a design studio with his brother Hans-Peter Porsche, releasing a wide array of items such as the "Chronograph 1" watch and the interchangeable-lens sunglasses "P'8478." These continue to exude a timeless appeal.
The "911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche" was announced to coincide with the 90th birthday of F.A. Porsche. It is being produced in collaboration with F.A. Porsche's youngest son, Mark Porsche, who will own one unit, with the remaining 89 units available for sale.
This car is finished in the iconic body color "F.A. Green Metallic." The color was inspired by Oak Green Metallic, a favorite of F.A. Porsche's own car, and was created by the Porsche family and Paint to Sample experts.
From 2026 onwards, all vehicles with body colors handled by Paint to Sample experts will feature a special label on the A-pillar stating "Paint to Sample" or "Paint to Sample Plus." This model will be the first to bear this new label.
Another distinctive exterior feature is the Sport Classic wheels, painted in satin gloss black. Inspired by the classic Fuchs rims, the details are meticulously crafted, including the center-lock mechanism and the historic 1963 crest on the wheel hub cover.
Inside, upon opening the doors, the eye is drawn to the chic seats combining leather and checked fabric.
This checked pattern is inspired by F.A. Porsche's favorite jacket. "Like the pencils, pipe, and ashtray, this jacket is part of my childhood memories, and I feel it is inextricably linked to my father's home and office," says Mark Porsche.

The "Chronograph 1," one of F.A. Porsche's masterpieces, is mounted on the upper part of the instrument panel, and a plate bearing the inscription "One of 90" is affixed to the dashboard trim, emphasizing that the "911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche" is a rare collector's item.
The base model is the "911 GT3 Touring Package," equipped with a 4-liter flat-six engine that produces a maximum output of 375 kW (510 PS) and a maximum torque of 450 Nm.

Purchasers will also receive a special edition "Chronograph 1" and a weekender bag in the same style as the car, crafted by Porsche Design.
Furthermore, to mark the launch of the "911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche," the "Porsche Junior" sports sled, designed by F.A. Porsche, has been revived.
The new version is characterized by its extremely light weight, being made of carbon fiber. Like the special edition car, it is finished in F.A. Green Metallic and will be produced in a limited run of 90 units, making it another rare collector's item.
The price for the "911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche" is set at 5,071 yen. Production is scheduled to begin in the latter half of 2026.
