Bentley unveils the Continental GT S, the fastest in the 'S' model lineage.

Bentley Motors has announced the new Continental GT S and its open-top counterpart, the Continental GTC S. The new models feature plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology and boast a significant power increase over their predecessors.

A Substantial Power Boost of 130ps and 160Nm Over the Previous Generation
The 'S' models hold a special significance within the Bentley lineup, representing the sportiest variants. The newly introduced Continental GT S and Continental GTC S are described as the fastest and most powerful 'S' models ever created.
The fourth-generation Continental GT S merges the latest hybrid powertrain with chassis technology found in the Continental GT Speed, developed for drivers who prioritize performance.
The powertrain combines a 4.0-liter V8 cross-plane engine with a PHEV system, delivering a maximum output of 680ps and 1030Nm of torque. This represents a substantial increase of 130ps and 160Nm compared to the previous GT S.
It achieves 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 306 km/h. Furthermore, it is capable of pure electric driving for up to 80 km.
Supporting the powertrain is the 'Bentley Performance Active Chassis,' a specialized chassis setup previously exclusive to the Continental GT Speed and GT Mulliner.
This system includes active all-wheel drive, twin-valve dampers, torque vectoring front-to-rear and side-to-side, an active anti-roll system powered by a 48V electrical system, and new-generation ESC control software. For the first time in a Continental GT S, it also incorporates an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) and all-wheel steering.
The integrated AWD chassis offers Bentley's most advanced and driver-focused setup to date, enabling drivers to unlock a wide range of performance capabilities, from public roads to the racetrack.
The design also befits an 'S' model, with a sportier aesthetic. The dark-finished front lower spoiler is further emphasized, and the gloss black matrix grille creates a powerful expression.
Additionally, the dark-tinted full LED matrix headlamps feature Bentley's 'Precision Design' details, a specification previously unique to the GT Speed.
The standard wheels are 22-inch silver units, but unique optional wheels are also available for the Continental GT S.
Inside, the two-tone leather color scheme, exclusive to the Continental GT S, combined with fluted seats, creates a sporty ambiance, underscoring its position at the pinnacle of the Continental GT range.
