Low clip-on handlebars for a more dynamic ride

The cafe racer movement, born around London's Transport Cafe in the 1960s. This limited edition model offers a modern reinterpretation of the style of that era, which demanded powerful performance and excellent handling for racing on public roads.

The "Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition" is based on the latest "Speed Twin 1200." According to Paul Stroud, CCO of Triumph Motorcycles, "This model was born from the success of the Speed Twin and is positioned at the pinnacle of the Speed Twin line."

The exterior features a color scheme combining Competition Green and Aluminium Silver. Empire Gold coachlines beautifully accentuate the color transition, adding premium details that evoke craftsmanship.

The side panels are also finished in Competition Green, with bold Aluminium Silver "12" number graphics strongly conveying a racing spirit.

The low-slung clip-on handlebars enable a more dynamic and immersive riding experience, supported by top-spec suspension for agile performance.

The power source is Triumph's high-compression Bonneville 1200 parallel-twin engine, producing a maximum output of 105 ps and peak torque of 112 Nm.

The characteristic 270-degree crank combined with a low-inertia crankshaft contributes to sharp throttle response and a characterful power delivery.

Riding modes can be freely adjusted among "Road," "Rain," and "Sport." Additionally, cornering ABS and traction control are standard, designed to allow riders to enjoy the Speed Twin 1200's characteristic nimble handling and torquey ride.

Furthermore, like the "Speed Twin 1200 RS," the Triumph Shift Assist is discreetly positioned behind the shift lever, ensuring functionality without compromising the exterior that embodies modern classic style.

The LCD and TFT displays are housed within traditional circular dials, maintaining the Speed Twin's timeless look, while supporting turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone connectivity. A USB Type-C charging socket is also equipped.

Braking power is delivered by Brembo Stylema twin calipers paired with 320mm discs, and the bike comes standard with Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tires. This contributes to reassuring braking performance with a direct and consistent feel at the lever.

The "Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition," limited to 800 units worldwide with each vehicle bearing a serial number, is scheduled for delivery in Japan starting mid-February. The price is 2,519,000 yen.
