An Unrivaled Open-Air Experience, Befitting a "Riviera Racer"

The "Amalfi Spider," unveiled in Italy on March 12th, has already been revealed in Japan.

The "Amalfi," which serves as its base, debuted last July as a model that harmoniously blends Ferrari's DNA of "overwhelming performance" with the "versatile elegance" for enjoying life.

The "Amalfi Spider," unveiled this March, also features a V8 engine in its front-midship, just like the "Amalfi." It maintains the proportions and volume of the coupe "Amalfi" while becoming a graceful open-top car equipped with a soft top.

Mattia Megliorin, Product Marketing Manager from Ferrari's headquarters, took the stage at the Japan premiere held at The Westin Tokyo in Ebisu, Tokyo.

In his presentation, he emphasized that through its array of features blending sensibility and technology, it offers an unparalleled open-air experience, befitting a "Riviera Racer."

He also introduced the "Amalfi Spider" as a model for sports car enthusiasts who seek both design and lifestyle appeal, alongside Ferrari's signature pure performance, offering the joy of life and the thrill of driving.

To express the "two souls" of the "Amalfi Spider," an elegant and passionate opera performance and a modern, dynamic DJ performance were presented, creating a space where these contrasting worlds merged.

The "Amalfi Spider" is equipped with the latest evolution of a 3,855cc V8 twin-turbo engine in its front-midship.
Paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, it produces a maximum output of 640ps and a peak torque of 760Nm. It achieves 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 320 km/h.

Furthermore, the precision of vehicle control is enhanced by a brake-by-wire system. The "ABS Evo," which adapts to all grip conditions, contributes to improved braking performance and stability, attesting to its exceptional driving specifications.

The interior features front seats, as well as rear seats that can accommodate children or be used for luggage. The soft top can be opened or closed in 13.5 seconds at speeds up to 60 km/h, and its color can also be customized.

Additionally, active aerodynamics, including a three-stage variable rear wing and a button-operated integrated wind deflector, ensure a comfortable open-air drive, which is another notable feature.
