Aston Martin simultaneously unveiled the high-performance SUV "DBX S" and the "Vantage S," which the company touts as the ultimate sports car, for the first time in Japan at "The House of Aston Martin Aoyama" in Tokyo's Aoyama district. Both models bear the "S" designation, signifying their flagship status.

Enhanced Performance and Distinctive Design
The "S" holds special significance for Aston Martin. This designation, originating with the "DB3 S" in 1953, has been passed down for over 70 years as a symbol of the company's high-performance models. Two such cars, bearing the "S," have now arrived in Japan.
The importance of the "S" models within Aston Martin's lineup is underscored by the presence of Mr. Karl Bayliss, Regional President for Asia Pacific & Greater China, and Mr. Neil Hughes, Head of Product Management from the company's Gaydon headquarters, who delivered presentations at the event.
At the heart of the "DBX S" lies an upgraded version of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. It boasts a maximum output of 727 ps and peak torque of 900 Nm, achieving 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of approximately 311 km/h.
In addition to the power increase, the vehicle has undergone weight reduction, and a carbon fiber roof is now available as an option. This not only shaves off 18 kg but also contributes to a lower center of gravity.

The design clearly distinguishes the "DBX S" as a special model, featuring a striking pure black grille, newly designed splitter and diffuser, and distinctive wrap-around daytime running lights that enhance its unique character.
Accent lines in red, silver, or green along the lower body further accentuate the sportier exterior.

The "Vantage S," meanwhile, is positioned as Aston Martin's most performance-focused sports car. This "Vantage S" model further elevates its power and dynamic capabilities.

Like the "DBX S," it is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering a maximum output of 680 ps and peak torque of 800 Nm.
As an "S" model, it features subtle modifications to the suspension, powertrain mounts, and control software. Tuning for each drive mode enhances the sense of connection and driving unity.
Furthermore, the rear subframe is now mounted directly to the body, bypassing rubber bushings, which improves directness and steering response.

The front exterior is distinguished by a new bonnet blade centrally mounted, serving as a visual cue for the "Vantage S" while also optimizing heat dissipation from the V8 engine.
At the rear, a decklid spoiler that spans the width of the car emphasizes its special "S" model status.
This element not only adds visual flair but also increases rear downforce by 44 kg at top speed, contributing to a total of 111 kg of downforce at maximum velocity.

The "DBX S" and "Vantage S," representing the pinnacle of their respective model lines, are now available for order.
