Bentley's first all-electric SUV arrives in September

Bentley Motors has unveiled a teaser for its latest all-electric SUV model, revealing its name will be "Torcal." The world premiere is scheduled for September 23rd in London.

Naming Derived from Spanish Natural Heritage
The "Torcal," Bentley's first all-electric SUV, will join the lineup as the company's fourth model line, following the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga.
Following the naming convention of modern Bentleys, which draws inspiration from beautiful natural landscapes, the Torcal is named after the scenic Spanish location "El Torcal de Antequera."
El Torcal de Antequera, located in the Andalusia region of Spain, is a magnificent natural heritage site known for its layered limestone formations, cliffs, and labyrinthine terrain. It has been shaped by natural forces over millions of years and continues to evolve.
The word "Torcal" also derives from the Latin "torquere" (to twist, to turn), which is the origin of the modern English word "torque."
It also embodies the concept of "effortless progression," a characteristic that has been Bentley's motto for 107 years.
Bentley Chairman and CEO Frank-Stephan Walliser commented, "The new Torcal is a model that will set new standards in all key areas and may be the most thoughtfully conceived car in Bentley's history."
Further details about the Torcal, which will be revealed in the coming weeks leading up to its world debut on September 23rd, are anticipated. We look forward to the full unveiling of Bentley's fourth model line.
