The Excitement and Thrill of Ducati's Signature Fighter Style Reach New Heights

The Ducati Streetfighter, an extreme naked bike that made a striking debut at the Milan Show in November 2008 and won the "Most Beautiful Bike in the World" award, has evolved into the Streetfighter 848.

First, let's focus on the engine. It's the Testastretta 11° engine, already highly acclaimed in the Multistrada and Diavel. This engine features a compact cylinder head and an 11° overlap angle between the intake and exhaust valves. Its key characteristics are ease of handling and excellent fuel efficiency. Yet, it delivers a maximum output of 97 kW and a peak torque of 93.5 Nm from its 848cc displacement.

Naturally, it employs Ducati's signature desmodromic system, which operates without valve springs. This ensures performance befitting the name "Streetfighter." Furthermore, refinements to the chassis ergonomics and the Ducati Traction Control (DTC), with eight sensitivity levels fed back from the circuit, deliver comfort and a high level of riding. The frame, expertly combined to achieve ideal agility and an overwhelming riding feel through improved geometry, offers pure riding pleasure.

The dry weight of this new Streetfighter 848 is just 169kg. Color variations include Ducati's traditional red (with a red frame), as well as yellow and dark stealth, emphasizing the Streetfighter's aggressive image. When choosing yellow or dark stealth, the frame color will be racing black. The introduction timing and pricing in Japan are scheduled to be announced at a later date.

*Engine specifications are for the Italian domestic model.
