Advance Reservations Open for the Highly Anticipated Collaboration

Prices Expected to Be Under 3 Million Yen
The "500 by Gucci" was created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Italian unification and the 90th anniversary of Gucci's founding, through a partnership between two leading Italian brands. This special edition was designed in collaboration between Fiat's Centro Stile (design center) and Gucci's Creative Director, Frida Giannini.
The "500 by Gucci," featuring Gucci's signature green-red-green web stripe encircling the body, is based on the Fiat "500" and the "500C" convertible. It is available in two colors: black, with a neo-classic feel, and white. The black model uses glossy chrome for its details, and the interior is sharply defined with black and white for a striking contrast. In contrast, the white model features an ivory and black interior, creating a soft and sophisticated ambiance.
Attention to detail is paramount. The wheel center caps, fitted with 195/45R 16 tires, bear the interlocking G mark in the body color, while the tailgate and B-pillar are adorned with the Gucci script logo. Inside, the green-red-green web is incorporated into the seats, gear shift lever, key cover, carpets, and seatbelts, highlighting Gucci's distinctive touch with exquisite detail.
While the official announcement of the Japanese specification model of the "500 by Gucci" is scheduled for early July, those who make advance reservations on the Japan-exclusive pre-order site will be prioritized for delivery from autumn onwards and will also be invited to various events planned from July.
Both the "500 by Gucci" and "500C by Gucci" are expected to be priced under 3 million yen.

BRAND HISTORY
Founded in 1899, Fiat was initially known as f.i.a.t., an acronym for "Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino" (Italian Automobile Factory of Turin). In 1907, the company name was changed to the current FIAT.
Fiat's core business has been mass-produced cars. In the 1930s, it introduced the 507 Balilla, followed by the 500 (Cinquecento) Topolino. This small car, nicknamed "little mouse," also featured in the Hollywood film "Roman Holiday" (released in 1953).
Fiat began acquiring other Italian brands in the 1960s. In 1968, it brought Autobianchi under its umbrella and acquired a 50 percent stake in Ferrari in the same year. The following year, 1969, Lancia became a subsidiary. Ferrari was later fully acquired. In 1986, Alfa Romeo was acquired, followed by Maserati in 1993. In 2009, Fiat acquired a 35 percent stake in Chrysler.
