The salon "Miya Shinma PARFUMS Paris Atelier" is where perfumer Miya Shinma meticulously selects the finest ingredients from around the world to create bespoke perfumes.

Located in the Marais district of France, in a quiet atelier near Place des Vosges, arguably Paris's most beautiful public square, she crafts original fragrances that highlight the allure of her clients.



Shinma's journey into bespoke perfumery began when she commissioned a perfume from a perfumer she met during her travels. Witnessing the spectacle of her own fragrance being created in his laboratory moved her deeply, inspiring her to become a perfumer herself.

She moved to France in 1997. Under the tutelage of the perfumer who was the mentor of the perfumer she met on her travels, she studied the art of fragrance creation. In 2000, she held a bespoke perfume creation event at a renowned Parisian department store, and subsequently began crafting custom fragrances at her own atelier in Paris.

A key element of Miya Shinma's approach is her patient consultation, drawing out clients' desires and preferences to create their original scent. From a library of over 1,000 meticulously sourced global ingredients, she selects the optimal components. While sharing the stories behind the scents, she crafts each unique formula as if composing a personal narrative. Furthermore, all formulations are kept on record, allowing for reordering of the same fragrance.
