Inspired by this beautiful material, shaped by the often-violent currents of water over time, ISSEY MIYAKE has boldly carved a single piece of wood to create the finely textured, warm "NATURE PRINT" bottle.

L'EAU D'ISSEY NATURE PRINT features a bottle with a pink-grey, aged patina, topped with a matte white cap. The warm, natural wood of the bottle contrasts with the cool, smooth touch of the metal cap. This unprecedented combination of materials and textures powerfully appeals to the senses, evoking a sense of wonder.

The fragrance has also been newly created for this edition. It opens with notes of cassis and mandarin. The freshness of these fruits evokes the scent of flowers blooming as they are carried by the water's flow. As the water continues its journey, it encounters the essence of rose, mimosa absolute, and the delicate scent of freesia. After a moment of intoxication with these gentle floral notes, a distinctive and rich woody aroma begins to rise.

Cedarwood blends with the scent of water, embodying the essence of driftwood. Driftwood, carried downstream by powerful currents, eventually reaches the shore to find rest. Here, it is enveloped in warm woody amber and white musk, gradually acquiring a rare, aged patina.

The fragrance remains the classic L'EAU D'ISSEY POUR HOMME, yet it harmoniously intertwines with the narrative of driftwood. Yuzu peel lends its freshness to the expressive water, while sage and coriander leaves spread their aroma across the surface. Spices follow, with nutmeg and cinnamon carried by the wind that stirs the water's surface. The same wind brings the scent of water lily and geranium. Laden with these flowers, the driftwood eventually reaches the shore, warmed by the sun's rays. The story culminates with a rich amber accord, followed by the grounding notes of sandalwood and vetiver.

Both bottles utilize "beechwood" sourced from forests certified by environmental protection organizations. Beyond the inherent beauty of beechwood, with its regular grain and fine texture, ISSEY MIYAKE chose this material because it comes from forests managed to ensure that land development causes no damage to other ecosystems. This responsible sourcing was a key factor in the selection.
