The "New Aqua Allegoria" Arrives with a Palette of Five Fragrances
This summer, Guerlain's fragrance series "Aqua Allegoria" is reborn with a fresh new look. New fragrances created by the fifth-generation perfumer Thierry Wasser are introduced, and alongside them, four of the series' most popular scents are presented in updated bottles and packaging. As the new Aqua Allegoria, they will be released simultaneously on Friday, June 4th.

"Aqua Allegoria," which reinterprets freshness in an entirely new way, is a fragrance collection created by Jean-Paul Guerlain as an homage to nature. With "allegory, nature, and gardens" as its keywords, Aqua Allegoria vividly asserts individuality, acting as an interpreter of water and creating a unique, unparalleled world as a synonym for delicacy and lightness.
Since its debut in 1999, 22 Aqua Allegoria fragrances have been created. Among them, Pamplelune, Herba Fresca, Mandarine Basilic, and Tiare Mimosa represent the essence of the collection. The beautiful natural scents of flowers, fruits, and greens, created by abundant use of natural ingredients and unique combinations, each possess a distinct personality while remaining simple, high-quality, and light to wear. They have gained immense popularity as fragrances that can be easily enjoyed according to mood and occasion. And in 2010, new fragrances are born once more.
The new "Flora Nymphea" is a fragrance that embodies the form of a nymph, a nature goddess. Amidst a profusion of delicate petals accented with honey, a nymph that is half flower and half bee reveals a dazzling, graceful, and airy form.
Its scent was created by the fifth-generation perfumer Thierry Wasser, inspired by a white flower called "Slan-ga," also known as "the poet's jasmine." Flora Nymphea, which sensually expresses the fragrant beauty of Slan-ga flowers, a bloom of fresh, transparent scent, is composed around Italian Calabrian orange blossom of the highest quality.
A hint of fruity notes complements the scent of wild grasses, trees, and leaves. With a touch of honey added, the heart, colored in the pastel tones of orange blossom, deepens the fragrance. It is a graceful, light, and addictive freshness. This is the fragrance of the nymph, Flora Nymphea.
Original Design Completed with Added Preciousness and Presence
To coincide with the launch of Flora Nymphea, Aqua Allegoria's appearance has been renewed. While faithfully preserving the tradition of the bottle designed by sculptor Robert Granai, an unprecedented sense of preciousness and presence has been added with gold labels, completing the original design. The packaging has also been updated. The pure white base features a honeycomb relief, and the surface is adorned with Guerlain's symbol, the bee, depicted in the color of each fragrance. The reverse side details the story of each scent.
