Les Dauphins Palette & Lip Chic New Colors Launch
Two signature makeup items from the Chantecaille 2010 Spring Collection will be released first at Isetan Shinjuku on March 6th (Saturday), followed by a launch at Ginza Matsuya on March 13th (Saturday).
5% of proceeds from the "Les Dauphins" palette will be used for marine life conservation research.
The dolphins of Greece, once numbering in the thousands and thriving, are now listed on the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) Red List of endangered species.
Overfishing, destruction of marine environments by trawling, and insufficient protected areas—these are not isolated incidents in Greece, but a reality occurring worldwide.
Chantecaille will donate 5% of the profits from the 2010 Spring Collection "Les Dauphins" to support the research of marine biologist Giovanni Bearzi (Tethys Research Institute), who studies the last remaining dolphins in the Greek seas.
