A Motorsport Celebration Held in California | Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2016 Gallery

The Escala concept, a Cadillac sedan that evokes a sense of the future, displayed in a corner of the venue.
The "Acura Precision Concept," unveiled at this year's Detroit Auto Show, is said to indicate the design direction of the Acura brand.
Among BMW's 100th-anniversary exhibits, the 328 Mille Miglia Bugelfalete Roadster (1937) featured an aerodynamic body based on cam theory and was once owned by Albert Speer.
The Iso Grifo A3/C Drogo Berlinetta (1964), designed by Bizzarrini for Duke Rivolta, was active in races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 1000 km of Sebring.
The American Motors AMX/3 (1968) was designed by Giotto Bizzarrini, a talented engineer who was also a racing and test driver and had worked on cars like the Ferrari 250 GTO, for American Motors. Only six were built.
The styling of the American Motors AMX/3 was by Richard Teague, American Motors' in-house designer.
The "Fiat 500 Bizzarrini Marinetta Berlinetta" (1953) was Giotto Bizzarrini's university graduation project. Based on a Fiat 500, he built a frame, created an aluminum body, and tuned the engine.

The "Most Elegant Car (Closed)" award went to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale Bertone Prototipo (1957), a prototype Giulietta SS characterized by the lack of a shield on the front, owned by JB & Dorothy Nethercutt (JB is an automotive enthusiast and founder of Merle Norman Cosmetics).
