Nissan introduced their 2013 model year GT-R at SUGO sports-land circuit in Miyagi, Japan. Last year, when the GT-R widely increased its power and made great improvement in its efficiency, the chief engineer Mr. Kazutoshi Mizuno showed his satisfaction and commented ‘This is the true GT-R’. However, the perfection of 2013 GT-R goes beyond the last year model.
New GT-R’s steering is as good as previous model. This time, improvement was mainly done in engine, suspension and body. New 3.8 liter V6 engine with 550ps maximum horse power is 20ps more powerful than previous one, providing 632Nm of torque, 20Nm more. Acceleration is outstanding. 0-100km/h happens in 2.84sec; it surpassed the record of Lamborghini’s new flagship Aventador which is 2.9sec. Along with the improvement in performance, GT-R slightly improved its fuel efficiency: 8.7km/liter at JC08 mode.
