1965年京都市生まれ。21歳の時にマガジンハウスのポパイ編集部でファッションエディターとしてのキャリアをスタート。現在は雑誌『CASA BRUTUS』『POPEYE』『GINZA』（以上マガジンハウス）、『MEN'S NON NO』（集英社）、『SOTOKOTO』（木楽舎）などのファッションページを手がけるほか、坂本龍一氏、中田英寿氏、 SMAP、オダギリ・ジョー氏、妻夫木聡氏などのコマーシャルのスタイリングの仕事も。
パリとミラノのコレクション観覧歴はかれこれ十数年に渡り、最近ではテレビ・雑誌のコレクションリポートやファッション評論などの仕事も多い。2年前からは『FASHION NEWS MENS』（INFASパブリケーションズ）の編集長も務めている。

Born in 1965 in Kyoto, Japan. He started his career at the age of 21 as a fashion editor at Popeye magazine's editorial department of Magazine House. Currently, he is working on the magazines CASA BRUTUS,POPEYE, the GINZA (Magazine House), MEN'S NON NO (SHUEISHA), SOTOKOTO (kirakusha), and he is setting out fashion styling for people such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Hidetoshi Nakata, SMAP, Joe Odagiri, and Satoshi Tsumabuki.
He has been attending to Milan collection and Paris collection for over a decade. Recently he has been reporting and comments about the collections on TV programs and in magazines. Since last 2 years, he has also been working as an editor in chief of Fashion News Mens (INFAS Publications).
